Jesuit Volunteering
Love, self-awareness, ingenuity and courage

Who are the Jesuits?

The Jesuits (or the Society of Jesus) are a male order within the Catholic church. Established in 1540, they existed from their founding to be “companions of Jesus”, “to help souls” and to be contemplatives in action. There are currently over 19,000 Jesuits worldwide.

The Jesuits support and fund Jesuit Volunteering as part of their commitment to promote justice, and to give people opportunities to seek and find the generosity and love of God at work in all things.
