Love, self-awareness, ingenuity and courage
Jesuit Volunteering is a network of different agencies that provide opportunities for adults to volunteer in a way that integrates their skills with their values. All Jesuit Volunteers work with people whose lives are affected by poverty, exclusion or injustice, following the example of Jesus. They use the tools of Ignatian spirituality to reflect upon their work.
In all its different settings, Jesuit Volunteering aspires to be:
· Grounded in faith, hope and love
· Faithful to its Ignatian mission
· Discerning and responsive to specific needs in partnership
· Professional both in action and reflection
· Supportive of volunteers according to their individual needs
